[펫런-케이알랩바이오,반려견 다이어트 특화 'FAT BURN' 라인업 출시]
AI 기반 반려견 비만 케어 솔루션 기업 펫런(대표 안동준)과 마이크로바이옴 분석·유전자 검사 전문 기업 KR랩바이오(대표 노규형)가 업무협약(MOU)을 체결한 지 6개월 만에 반려견 다이어트 특화 제품 ‘FAT BURN’ 라인업을 선보인다.
이번에 공개된 FAT BURN은 반려견 주식으로 섭취할 수 있는 자연식 화식과 맞춤형 영양제 두 가지 제품으로 구성됐다. 화식은 소고기와 닭고기 2종으로, 기호성과 영양 균형을 모두 고려했다.
모든 제품에는 액티포닌(Actiponin)과 돌외잎추출분말이 함유돼 있으며, 사람이 먹어도 안전한 원재료로 만들어졌다. FAT BURN 라인업은 영양 보충과 기호성 개선에 도움을 주는 것이 특징이다.

Today the Council adopted a new legislation establishing, for the first time, harmonised EU-wide standards for the welfare, breeding, identification and traceability of cats and dogs.
The new rules introduce common requirements for breeders, sellers, shelters and online platforms involved in the placing of cats and dogs on the EU market. They establish mandatory identification and registration systems to ensure full traceability throughout the Union.

"Canine cystitis is a common reason for antimicrobial use in veterinary practice. This
survey investigated how Italian veterinarians diagnose and manage cystitis and whether
practices differ between clinics and hospitals. Responses from 359 veterinarians showed
that 63.2% worked in small clinics, 25.6% in large clinics, and 11.1% in veterinary hospitals.
Diagnosis was most often based on clinical signs combined with urinalysis, bloodwork,
and abdominal ultrasound (45.1%), or on clinical signs and urinalysis alone (43.7%). Urine
culture and sensitivity testing was performed in more than 50% of cases by 34.4% of small
clinics, 55.4% of large clinics, and 72.5% of veterinary hospitals (p < 0.00001), with cost and
delayed results reported as main barriers. Antibiotics were included in first-line therapy by
56.2% of respondents, with treatment durations being typically 7–14 days. Management of
subclinical bacteriuria was variable, with some recommending probiotics or D-mannose,
and others prescribing antibiotics or no treatment.”
